Eraser

The Eraser tool will erase parts of your image to either the background color or transparency. It offers an adjustable intensity for effect.

Transparency Modes

If the transparency editing mode is set to Opaque or Keyed, the eraser will erase to the background color. Otherwise, it will erase to transparency.

Intensity

Drag the intensity slider up and down to change the strength of the eraser. A lower intensity will apply a lighter effect, which will allow you to erase to partial transparency.
