File Formats

Allows you to configure file formats.

Configure

If the file format has configurable options, this button will show them.

NPSD

The NPSD file format uses ZIP compression as its base. You can configure it to use the built in "DotNetZip" library or an external archiver such as 7-Zip as the loader.

GIF

Multi-frame GIFs can be loaded with different loaders, and saved with different encoders, depending on your system. These determine specifics of how the files are loaded and saved.

PNG

You can configure whether semi-transparent palette entries are preserved for indexed editing or converted to true color.

You can also configure whether gamma information is saved. This helps images display with the correct brightness on different systems. Disable this option to ensure accuracy similar to BMP.

Delete

Removes the file format from NPS Image Editor

Import

Imports the extension

Export

Exports the extension
