DrawingDefault drawing toolSpecifies the drawing tool that's selected by default when you open NPS Image Editor. You can specify "Remember last-used tool" to remember the tool you were using when you closed NPS Image Editor. Otherwise you can choose a specific tool that is always selected regardless of which tool you were last using. Remember paint tool settings from last sessionEnable this option to remember paint tool settings (such as drawing size) from the last time you used NPS Image Editor. Disable it to always use the previous values. To set default values, first enable the option, configure the tools the way you want them, and then go back into Options to disable it. Transparency backgroundSpecifies the background to show for transparent regions behind the background layer. Most image editors show a checkered background. You can specify a light or dark checkered background as well as white. This background does not get saved with the image. Note that if you set a Transparent Background Color, that color will temporarily replace the background you set here. Automatically detect transparency editing mode based on image formatSets the transparency editing mode automatically depending on whether or not the image format of the file you opened supports transparency. (For example if you open a JPEG image, it will set transparency editing mode to Opaque to prevent you from accidentally creating transparency, but if you open a PNG image it will enable transparency.) If this option is disabled, the last-used transparency mode will be enabled. If you add transparency to an image and attempt to save to a format that does not support it, you will get a warning. Show cursor outlineDisplays an outline showing where the drawing tool will place pixels Don't prompt before resizing image if clipboard data is larger than the canvasIf you attempt to paste an image larger than the canvas, you can either keep the current size (to manually crop the pasted image to the canvas) or have the canvas expand to fit the new image. This option controls whether you are prompted to do so or if the canvas expands automatically. |
