One of NPS Image Editor's strengths is its screenshot-editing capabilities. Screen Clipping makes it even easier to capture a screenshot
in various ways.
Access the Screen Clipping tool
From the Welcome Screen, click the dropdown menu or right-click the Paste button to access the "Screen Clipping..." option.
From the Edit menu, click "Insert Screen Clipping...".
From the Start Menu, search for "NPS Quick Snip" to create a new clipping without needing to open NPS Image Editor ahead of time.
Create a screen clipping
Your screen will turn slightly gray. From here, click and drag a region to clip it. NPS Image Editor will open with the image you clipped.
Press Esc if you would like to cancel without creating a clipping.
Crop an existing screenshot
Press Print Scr to grab a screenshot of the entire desktop. You can of course paste it in as-is, but NPS Image Editor offers several
tools to more easily get just the parts you need.
Crop to Monitor
From the Welcome Screen's Paste menu, choose "Select Monitor..." to display a preview of your desktop split up by monitor.
Click the monitor to open just that monitor's part of the desktop.
Clip from Screenshot
This works similarly to the Screen Clipping tool except it uses an older screenshot. Use this to clip out part of a screenshot
you took earlier or to capture things that require focus (such as tooltips or opened menus).
