Hand Tool

The Hand tool allows you to pan around your image using your mouse or (in the case of a touchscreen device) your finger.

Implicit Hand tool

You can access much of the Hand tool's functionality while using any other tool by pressing and holding the middle mouse button. This allows you to pan around the image without actually selecting the Hand tool.
