Summary: Mask is not cleared from freeform select when pasting

Description
When using freeform select, mask is not cleared when then pasting subsequently.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Copy something to clipboard (I did it with a freeform select in a separate instance, then pasted into yet another, then Ctrl+A for a non-masked clipboard copy)
2. Use freeform select on your image, delete the selection
3. Paste, and notice that the mask from your prior freeform select is still used for your rectangular image
