Description
The magnifying glass tool causes the program to crash upon hovering over the canvas if it is the first tool used in that instance. Other means of zooming (View menu, zoom in the status bar, keyboard shortcut, mouse wheel) work with no crash.
The crash message is "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
This only affects the zoom tool (I was unable to reproduce with others). This no longer occurs once you have performed another operation on the canvas such as drawing with another tool, clicking with the hand tool, and so on.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Open a fresh instance of NPS
2. Choose zoom tool under hand if it's not already selected
3. Move mouse over the canvas
4. See the crash!
