Privacy Policy
Overview
NPS Image Editor and Color Picker ("NPS") is an image editing application developed by Alexey "Lyosha" Blinnikov, aka Nookkin.
This privacy policy applies to NPS Image Editor version 5.0.0 and higher. Effective date: 7/26/2026
Your images and documents
NPS Image Editor opens image files and documents on your device. These files and documents are processed locally, including all of the filters published with NPS Image Editor, i.e. image data is NOT sent to the cloud for processing.
NPS Image Editor does not send your image data outside of your device, beyond you choosing to share via your operating system or other apps' sharing functionality (e.g. sending an image via a messaging app or backing it up via iCloud).
Camera
The camera is used for several optional featurs of NPS Image Editor. Camera data is only used when you are actively using the feature. You may refuse to grant camera permission, in which case those specific features will not work but all other features will continue working.
Photo editing
You may open "From Camera" to immediately take and edit a photo. Camera data is never sent outside of your app beyond you intentionally choosing to save the file to your phone or share it via the methods described under "Your images and documents".
Color Picker
The Color Picker contains a "Camera" picker that allows you to point your camera at real-world objects and sample colors in real time. This camera data is only used for showing the preview and picking a color; the data is not stored anywhere and is discarded when you close the color picker.
Name and email
The feedback form allows you to send bug reports or feature suggestions to the developer. This optionally allows you to enter a name and email address for later followup; you may submit feedback without these. If you choose to provide this information, it may be stored together with the issue and used by the developer for the sole purpose of following up with you. This information will not be shared publicly, displayed publicly, or sold to anyone. This information will be retained for as long as is necessary to investigate the issue. You may contact the developer to request deletion of stored name/email data at any point.
Advertising and tracking
NPS Image Editor does not display ads, nor does it build any tracking profile from your usage.
Basic installation and device data including NPS version, operating system, and installation type is gathered when feedback is sent.
Third-party services
NPS Image Editor does not use any 3rd-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version (with the new effective date) will be available at this URL: https://nps.nookkin.com/privacy.ndoc.
